One lingering memory

My biological father, Cecil Ford Hart, Sr passed away

when I was just a toddler of 18 months. I have only one memory of him.

The night before he died he took me to the dentist and

I remember riding home on his shoulders in the alley behind out apartment.

Great man. 

At the age of 19, fresh out of the Air Force at the end of WWII,

 he took on a wife that had 3 little kids and raised us as his own.

I was his favorite.

Every car that I can remember we ever owned was a Chrysler or Dodge or Plymouth.
I think that was my mother's Plymouth he's leaning on.
I Love you Daddy, always have, always will.
I hope I'm doing what you would have wanted me to.

ET Phone Home

I have a real ET (Evil Twin, that is)

It's a private joke, but I love this gal like a sister.

She use to live in this area but a few years ago 

she moved to Pa with her husband, to be near his family.

Her life has been a true miracle. She was born with M.D. and 

not expected to live past the age of five. 

Actually I should call her "Cat Lady" since she has 9 lives, at least.

She has "died on the table" (no kidding) at least 4 times that I know of.

This last time she stayed in a coma for over 6 weeks and 

Carl thought he might have to pull the plug on her respirator. 

She has made great strides in her recovery including

 learning to talk all over again because of damage to the vocal cords.

Oh, and BTW, her real name is Sandy Lee McLaughlin.
