Just a quick update from my son-in-law Wade.
Well..... Not an equipment malfunction after all. Today Jordan's oxogen
levels took a nose dive, and they had to put the breathing tube back in.
Chest X-Ray showed that he has acute pneumonia in his right lung. (that
was the one that was still good) We are back to square one, and things
are not looking good. At best, he has a long battle ahead. Please keep
the prayers coming.
If you are the praying kind, they would be appreciated here. Thanks
Updating my update with a few words from his step mom.
I know by now most people now that Jordan has a rare disease that is progressive. We have been trying to prepare ourselves for the worst case scenario for a long time now. The last few days have been very scary and very hopeful...Yesterday Jordan had a turn for the worse and now has a long road of recovery. His Acute Severe Pneumonia is so bad (he showed no symptoms at home besides being tired, then very incoherent from lack of oxygen) that he is back on Ventilation. He will be heavily sedated to allow his body to heal and then we can asses the damage to his right lung (the right lung is his good lung, the left is partially collapsed and currently has a chest tube) We also found out yesterday that Jordan has contracted MRSA in the hospital....this of course is very bad for someone who is already so fragile. Jordan is brave and spiritually strong even if his body isn't. I know he means so much to so many of you and you to him. He can have visitors, but now everyone has to gown up before entering his room.
How does one EVER prepare for this?
