Difficult Year

This has been a difficult year for me. Lost my mother-in-law and a few short months later, I lost a nephew.
As if Death isn't bad enough, it was followed by dissension among the other family members.
Well God has a way of lifting us above it all.
Very recently a daughter I wasn't able to raise, found me. My whole world has lightened up again. I tried searching through the years but the records were sealed and she was told I had died so she wasn't looking.
Her mom and dad did a wonderful job of raising her. The answer to all my prayers through out the years.
She knew all her life she was adopted and that made her very special. She was hoping to find if she had siblings or cousins.

Needless to say, she hit the mother load.
She sent me a photo comparing us. What do you think? a mini-me?

Hard to say?
Look again.

Just one

Although it's not unusual to see gators in my neck of the woods, this one was headed across the park road to a small pond. We stopped to give it safe passage. He stared at us for several minutes (long enough for me to get my cell camera ready) then he turned around and beat feet back into the Walshingham Lake. I managed to snap off a few stills and when I looked at them came up with this idea. I never realized there was a petrified squirrel in the lower right side. Once the gator was submerged the sqirrel wasted no time clearing the area.
