Gone to the Dogs

Yup, it's official, I've gone to the dogs.

The bubble is Bridgette.
She gave her life chasing a burglar from our home in Oregon
The inquisitive on on 2 legs is Shania.
She left us Just before Christmas 2010.
The heart is Reba,
She will smile for you and win your heart.
And then there's Dolly.
Fish bowl, doggie jail same thing.
She rescued US from the grief of losing Shania
and give company to Reba.

We love our "Girls". They bring so much joy.

Yes, we have a cat (the cat from hell) but that's another story.

Slumber Party, Sleepover, what's the Difference?

Don't ask me. I'm asking you.
No matter what you call it,
the O'Neill girls and their friends
are having a blast.

Is all that pink making you sick?
You will need one more pink,

A Most Memorable Memorial Day

Today is the Traditional Memorial day.

Yup, very memorable for me. The birth of my first, a son.
He has spent most of his life in service to country
and then to our senior citizens first as a CNA,
and now as an LPN.
Always takes the time to look in on Ron and I,
and recently took up the crusade to help my nephew.

Best son a mom could wish for.
I Love You David
Happy Birthday.

Play Ball

Spring has sprung,
the grass has rizz,
I wonder where my softball is?

Tim knows, cause he has it.
Tim Richardson plays on a new team by the name of Say Something.
They play the Oregon circuit.

Mighty small Cheer-leading squad Angele Whinn.

OH NO, MR BILL

Gotcha

Mikey, your daddy taught you better that that,
next time don't get caught.

Bestest Big Brother Ever

Sgt. Cecil Ford Hart Jr.
Well what can I say... He was born wanting to join the US Air Force.
We lived outside the south gate of Andrews Air Force Base and as soon as Cecil
was old enough he went from the Boy Scouts to the Air Scouts.
With the first flight his feet never touched the ground.

Because he was an outstanding Scout all of his life, he was chosen to be
one of the Honor Guards for President Kennedy's Inauguration.
Afterwards President Kennedy shook his hand, man...
DON'T TOUCH THE HAND!

His was to be a too short life of just under 30 years,
leaving behind a young wife with 4 little girls under the age of 5.

RIP big brother.

Message from Above

When I went to the park today I happened to notice a lot of clouds
that closely resembled The American Eagle.
I used this one to show my support for all of our Troops, past, present and future.
God Bless You, Everyone.

I miss you Daddy

My dad was only 15 when he lied his way into the US Army.
I'm proud of him, his generation and the many young men and women
that have since, heeded the call of this great country.

Tarynhood and his Merrymen

Summer is almost here and what could be
more fun than hide and seek in the woods.

BINGO, Anyone?

What better way for us old folk to pass time this Memorial Day while
waiting for that BBQ to be ready than a game of Bingo?
Well come on in folks, Celeste has the hall ready.

  I want to

for taking me to bingo

Best Friend from Portland, Oregon

Gosh, what messes we use to get into.
And I wish I could do it all over again.
The warm feelings associated with the yellow rose are
often akin to those shared with a true friend.
As such, the yellow rose is an ideal symbol for
 joy and friendship.
Happy Birthday friend, these yellow roses
are just for you.

You use to only accept one at a time from my garden, these make up for lost time.

Your Wish is my Command

I told Jeannie it was Sean's Birthday today.
She granted his wish to be on Madeira beach, Florida with us.
You're here. Let's celebrate!

Memorial Day

While searching for Photos to use for Memorial day,
I went looking for Arlington Cemetery,
as that's where  I think of, when I think of Memorial Day.

I truly appreciate all of the sacrifices our Armed Servicemen and Servicewomen
have made to the country I love.
"All gave some & some gave all."
To their families, thank you for the sacrifice you made as well.

To you, I owe my right to pray, learn, speak and move freely about my country.
To wave the American Flag

GOD BLESS THE USA

Poor Baby

Ireland looks so unhappy.
Goofy promised a shiny new penny for
the first one to make her smile.
All of Disneyland turned out to try.

Two Sides of the Coin

I have two beautiful great granddaughters than will, in all probability, never meet.
One in the Great Northwest and the other in the Hospitable Southeast.
I have, in fantasy, brought them together for this moment in time.
Lilli, meet Jayden.

The Singing Heart

"Zing went the strings of (Angele's) heart."

I wasn't real sure about using this setting,
but he looks very handsome and comfortable like this.
Hope you like it Angele.

All Aboard the Tinytanic

Scott's pose reminded me of the titanic scene, so I played off of that.

Actually he is a pirate of the Miami Nolf crew.
After all, he stole Darlene's heart.

Speedy Recovery

I am sending an angel to watch over you Chelsie .
Hope you are on the mend real soon.

Oh and don't worry about the cat box, Angel will clean it up.

The Quiet One

That's right Nancy, I'm talking about you.
I wanted so much to have one for you for Mothers Day.
Not only are you a mom and raised your own kids,
you stepped up to the bat and are now raising your grandson.

I call her Friend

You are so very special to me.

Starry, Starry Night

She is so pretty she makes the stars come out at night to shine for her.
That's why at night I dream that someday Minna (Yaz) will be my daughter legally.

We love you Sweetie.

Besties

My daughter has been "Besties" aka BFF with
Debbie Wilson just about forever.
Debbie has been there for Darlene when I couldn't be.
I'm taking this opportunity to say "thank you so much."

A few of Darlene's favorite things, Debbie, cats and butterflies are represented here.

Debbie is co-owner of
Sportz Zone Bar & Grill

Swim with the Fishies

 Miami boy far from home.
He's a good sport,
Our first meeting I looked him straight in the eye
to see just who this guy is with my Baby Girl.
He looked this old

straight back in the eye
and never flinched. He's got my

of approval.
